A journey through the senses

MCM marks a new stage in its style journey with the Spring/Summer 2026 Eyewear Collection. The collection explores the senses, reinterpreting the brand’s iconic codes through texture and transforming the design into a tactile experience.

FROM MONOGRAM TO DIGITAL SCULPTURE

At the heart of the collection is a bold reinterpretation of the Visetos monogram. No longer a simple decorative element, the brand’s iconic pattern becomes a three-dimensional texture with diamond motifs inspired by the Bavarian flag. Taking on an innovative approach, these design elements engage the senses of sight and touch, elevating the monogram from symbol to substance and strengthening MCM’s vision of eyewear as a multisensory object.

Alongside the digital construction of the temples, sculpted by the new use of the Visetos element, the collection portrays a double narrative. On one hand, MCM’s design and engineering heritage translates into clean lines, architectural structures, and a Bauhaus-style approach that places function at the service of aesthetics. On the other, a contemporary attitude instills sunglasses and optical frames with a young, dynamic energy expressed through more sophisticated proportions and innovative details that speak today’s language.

The travel theme – understood as a journey focused on discovering new experiences, trends and expressions – remains a fundamental narrative and visual element. The collection interprets it through the pins inserted on the fronts and temples – which evoke the craftsmanship and authenticity of the metal hardware found on MCM luggage – and the refined details inspired by the laurel leaf, a historic symbol of the brand reproduced on the frames to enhance the harmonious dialogue between heritage and innovation.

With this new eyewear collection, MCM continues to look to the future without losing the connection with its history, transforming travel into an aesthetic and personal experience, where every frame becomes a sign of identity, movement, and individual expression.
